Google Sync keeps Calendar and Contacts up-to-date between mobile phone and PC / News 21.05.2009 04:48
Many mobile phone owners have discarded paper calendars and phonebooks because maintaining appointments and contacts is so simple on the phone. Some PC users try to manage their calendars and contacts on a PC or on an Internet service. The PC strategy is doomed to fail. We have relied more than 10 years solely on an electronic calendar and our experience indicates that the primary calendar always has to be in the pocket.
Although Google Calendar and Contacts are fine services, they have only been available on the Internet. Not anymore. Google has developed a new service called Google Sync that lets you keep your calendar and contacts up-to-date between your phone and your personal account on the Internet. The service is available for the Apple iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile smartphones and now for Symbian smartphones as well. Installing the service on a Symbian smartphone requires some work because you may have to download and install MS Exchange program to the phone to make it work with Google Sync.
If you are not using Google services for storing your personal information, we recommend Zyb sync service to keep your calendar and contacts up-to-date between your phone and PC.
